Okay, you got me. I was just standing very still, I find it's the best posture, and I happened to see in the mirror the reverse image of the clock and I was startled to have a thought.

As soon I cleaned everything up, I dashed to my computer.

To really play some mind games, take a tide clock and (once its set) remove the minutes and hours hands and only leave the tide cycle from your reference point. Then well talk.

I wear one that has 5 timers that I can set by date & time. That way I don't miss meetings at work. The PC (I have several different ones at work) that has outlook on it doesn't have speakers and is locked down by IT, so don't hear reminders from Outlook. Works for me.

That's what your PDA is for.

I'm frequently out of clock range (walking in a forest, say, or at a playground with sozlet but nobody else) and don't have a cell phone or pager, so I like my watch.

Hey, I do exactly the same thing, RP! as a matter of fact, it almost looks like the same watch. Works good and takes a 5 year lithium battery.

I've noticed that since I've retired, I rarely carry it anymore though. I needed will working, but not so much now.

I have a stop watch that tells me the time. Don't have a cell phone; so gotta have something. Plus, I can time myself doing stupid random things. Much more fun.

p.s. Cell phones are annoying. ............<running like hell
