The are paying for us to leave afterwards"
I suspect that if a woman wants a one-night stand with no attachment, there would be 100 men who would offer it for free (or less).
I don't see this as a business idea (other than for the novelty).
Dunno about that. I mean, apart from the fact that male prostitution for women clientele already
is a proven business venture, if not quite yet in the form Fleiss wants to try now.
See, many women will at first say, like Gina Pinon in the story, that they would never pay for sex "because I could go out and get it for free." But the catch there is that, especially if you get older, you may no longer be able to have sex with
whoever you want for free. And thats the broader motivation driving a budding demand for these services, I think, and not just (or even not so much) because no-longer-super-pretty older women, gotten used to getting only the best in life as top-earning professionals, might want a hot young stud. Its more about what Patti Britton says in the story:
Quote:A regulated business that does criminal and medical screening of its workers would find a market in women, said Patti Britton, the president-elect of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists. The clients would be women who are adverse to hiring escorts or to seeking men in bars because of the risk of violence and disease. "The cultural expectation," Ms. Britton said, "is that any woman can have sex any time she wants it. All she has to do is show up in a public place. But many women are shy socially. And when it comes to sex, women feel more vulnerable and at risk than men."
Sure every reasonably pretty woman can get sex for free in a bar. But at what risk? The violence of a date-turned-creep, disease? You pay for a service of a legal, supervised institution ... no risk no hassle.
