Wierd Download Problem

Reply Sun 8 Jan, 2006 07:44 am
It seems that each and every time I try to download something from the internet my computer takes that as an opportunity to drown me in a sea of warning windows that would make any spam king jealous.

I click download, my floppy drive crunches and tells me, "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive." I know there isn't a disk in the drive...I don't even use the damn thing!

To make matters worse, it does the exact same thing once the download is completed.

Crying or Very sad Help?

Apparently someone downloaded something to a floppy in the past and your pc is still checking the a: drive first.

Stick a floppy in, download something, then pick your c: drive.

next time it will default to the c: drive first.

Hmm...It was doing that after I already picked a folder to download to, but I tried anyway and it seems to have worked.

Thank you, hingehead. Your avatar is now saved on my hard drive in case you ever lose it. Smile
