A Mighty Wind
I really wanted to like this movie, but it wasn't nearly as funny as their first 3 mockumentaries. Maybe the cast of these movies is getting a little too old to be as funny as they use to be?

Hi Buffalo 66,
Welcome to A2K. Sometimes our expectations about a movie build to an extent that the movie disappoints. Sometimes we're just not in the mood/groove when we see it. Sometimes the experience is spoiled by other factors. Same as at the track, the favorite doesn't win all the time.

I think the actors were the right age for the roles they played--folk singers who were famous in the '60s. Re whether they're now old to be funny--jeez, I hope not. I'm about the same age!
