It is certainly political bigotry to ascribe all evil to those who are not conservatives of whom you approve. Certainly it political bigotry to attempt to construct definitions of political points of view which make those with whom you disagree politically always wrong, and the very personification of evil. That's what you've been attempting all along in this lame thread, and that is one of the finest examples of both bigotry and of idiocy i've ever seen.

No, I did not make that allegation, I simply asked the question of Walter, if he linked capitalism with Jews. After all, I just wondered about his view of Jews, the Judeo-Christian influence upon the political systems. I think it is a legitimate question in light of Walter's posts here. I am giving him a chance to expound and explain his beliefs.

Given that there were nothing in anything which Walter has written that would justify that assumption, and that you asked him about being a fabian, the implication was clearly that fabians could be relied upon to hate Jews as the very avatars of capitalist exploitation.

One of the biggest problems in this thread is the ineptitude with which you express yourself, and how often you seem to be completely unaware of the implications of what you have written.

Back off, gang, this piling on Okie has gone too far - not that I know what's been going on in my absence, I'll read the pages I missed in a moment.

I did however get around to reading Mein Kampf (don't know how I had missed reading it before) and have a question: I always thought Hitler didn't like Jews because they tended to be leftists, and in fact many of the original communists who took power after the 1917 revolution were jewish eg Trotsky. But Hitler seems to detest them not because of left-wing sympathies but because he has somehow linked them to the spread of syphilis, of all things; of course there was no cure until penicillin arrived in the early '40s, and it is a terrible illness, but does anyone know why Jews, in particular? They weren't sailors, and syphilis is known to have arrived from the Americas with the returning ship crews. Tks to anyone who knows.

High Seas, after reading Mein Kampf, any other thoughts about Hitler as a leftist or a rightee? Did you see what I posted a few pages back from Time Magazine's January issue 1939, wherein they had Hitler man of the year for 1938? One good paragraph of several good ones in that article was the one where he stabbed the capitalists in the back, and basically said he was not on their side, in fact he was governing like a leftist. Heres the quote again from Time:
