Burning CDs from Tapes

My dad has some tapes that he wants me to make CDs out of. Has anyone tried this? Apparently I can get an adapter and just plug the tape player (from the headphone jack I assume...or?) into my soundcard but I dunno...sounds iffy.

I'm aware that it will still sound 'tape quality' but he doesn't care about that. So, ever tried it? What do I need?

Hiya Sug!!
Very Happy Very Happy
How's things??

I've done VHS tapes into my comp, then burned them to DVD,...I think it's the same, in theory.

It's pretty easy, and comes out fine.

I'll be back with some info about the adapters! Very Happy
