I think the place I go is called "GameCrazy".

Beware of some of those sites - they are selling stolen goods. Do you want to share your credit card number with thieves?

I don't know those two places. I'd just be alert to buying anything too new, or too hard to come by, over the internet.

Even e-Bay is under investigation for being a "fence".

I'd be careful, that's all I'm saying. You have to provide a lot of information to the people you buy from. Good ratings is not an indication of honesty.

I suppose to be clear I should say that several vendors at e-Bay are under investigation.

E-Bay itself says that there is no way to police the problem and that they don't want to do it.

Most of the vendors are honest.

Those stores you're talking about are probably a lot like GameCrazy. At least you know who you're sharing your credit card number with.

Dude, just go to EBGames or GameCrazy at Hollywood Video. Seriously. That way, you know they are not stolen goods and you know they work.

Thats easy- EBAY. I am serious- the games are alot cheaper if you buy them used, and big woop if you don't have a brand new game.

The only exception to this not being a good idea, is if your game has a bizarre, use only once feature like Megaman Zero 3, which has a special cross-link function that gave you a special power in Megaman Battle Network 4 that can only be used once.

However, I doubt many games have that bizarre Pokémon-like function.

your bottom line best bet would be to find a friend or local off craigslist, because honestly everything else is overpriced.

Nah. I got Tales of Symphonia for ten pounds cheaper at Gameplay.com. Took ages to get here, however...

Well in the bay area, things are outrageously overpriced, my best bet is to find a friend.

Why don't you try P2P software like ODC or those under Bit-Torrent, Gnutella, Napster categories....

They are the cheapest ways to find full legal Video games, And for those which are single user license and cannot be played other than one PC, you can get the cracks which should be easy to locate.

I mean I downloaded Doom3, HL 2, UNREAL TOURNAMET 2004, HALO , NFS Underground, HULK and lots'a other games through ODC software ....

U just need patience and good rapport with the person you are getting it downloaded from ... (I mean have a good chat with him \ her …. say Thank you for letting you download blah blah …. Dude these things do help in staying the downloading session alive .... )
