@ossobuco,
wearing:insane fluffy purply hued socks that I think featured in the first pages of this little vignette expedition years ago. ...which leads me to the question: Do you just throw things away? I mean, they're still warm, they have no holes... But, I feel really guilty to still be wearing some of the same stuff I was wearing (and documented so) 6 years ago... So, that was the socks... smirk. Kev's warm beaten down burgundy Columbia pullover, in a spectacular Michele Obama paean - my bright red UGA sleep pants with the huge black G logo stamped all over. It is quite an individualized ensemble - We're going to the beach in a bit, so it is never to be worn again. I feel I'm living history.
hearing: El Camino Real and it's accelerations and decelerations.
eating: eggs with too much butter and a bagel.
drinking: yummy coffee
doing: marshaling the courage to call my mother, his mother.
looking forward to: laying in the sun ETA two hours
feeling: better about some things, worse about others - but a slight upward turn of the corner of my mouth - so, pretty damn good.
In related news, Twain didn't SAY the coldest winter he'd spent was summer in San Francisco,...but if he had, I'd have his back. Hopin the sun can cut through that crazy wind and the fog will get hung on the mountaintops.
