Finally have something on besides my jammy clothes.

wearing: Black denim jeans, over black boots (non-descript), deep v-necked black slip-on top and my favorite oversized black blazer. Last week, I picked up his really cute necklace, that went great -- a strand of black and amber shimmery beads come around the neck and join at antique "beads" (for lack of a better word). At the antique bead, three skinny lengths of assorted black and amber swoosh down to a rather large antique-looking metal thingy, with lovely mixtures of black and gold rhinestones. I have these unrelated, but sparkly amber drop earrings, and felt smurfy adding them. EhBeth and soz inspired me to put some clothes on.
hearing: If You Could Read My Mind.....Gordon Lightfoot (The feeling's gone, and he just can't get it back.)
eating: Just got back from a lovely dinner with daughter. (smiles) We shared a steak (can't eat a whole one), each had a salad, and a piece of brown bread with way too much salt.
drinking: nothing
doing: unwinding a bit
looking forward to: finishing practicum, getting Regents' and Praxis behind me, hearing from UGA, son's visit tomorrow--and not in that order. Smile
feeling: fabulous
wanting: my children to always be as happy as they are now. Very Happy

ehBeth--How long is your hair?

That might make a good tagline!

I like the description of what you were inspired to put on.

My hair's is very layered. The longest bits at the back are about hmmmmmm <feeling my back> 4" below collar level. It was an engineering marvel to make all of those lengths work - but it worked! and without shellac Very Happy

I've always liked the way a French braid looks...when OTHER people do them. My attempts always look like the setting of a recent catfight.

<heh...it might make good tagline>

I guess I will have to do A2K when I'm in clothes. My first four or so entries were in the same jammies.

Soz-- thanks for asking about my cat-- he has found a neighbor who feeds him three times a day, so he will not return home. <grr> The little blighter suns in the backyard, looking all cute and huggable, but won't let me near him. I miss him!

Sorry, but the first one is a Dubya quote, and the second is a made-up quote that originated as a joke about how Dan Quayle speaks. Check Snopes.

Edit: I just saw Soz's post...oops! I thought that was a GWB quote, but either way it's definitely not an Al Gore quote. Say what you like, but the man does know about the environment and he wouldn't have said that!
