wearing: Black long sleeve fitted T...Christmas tree on the front, low rider jeans, black converse sneakers, hair twisted up. I have about 10 silly band bracelets from my preschool children on my left wrist.
hearing: dogs howling at sirens
eating: not a thing
drinking: propel
smelling: home
doing: waiting for the bus...gotta get my boys.
looking forward to: my boys going to bed. Bad me.
wanting: Oh I don't know...too many things right now I fear.

doing: waiting for someone to call me back with some negotiation results
looking forward to: a weekend snoozefest

Of course you're going to worry -- that's what family does. Mr Fix-it's uncle has had both hips done (he's 84) and now nobody can keep up with him. I hope your mom has equally amazing results.

You know, every account I've ever heard lauds the operation as remarkable! Her bloods a little low, so she's been beefing it up with high iron foods, and they can transfuse her if necessary. She's a little nervous about having to give herself a needle in the belly for a few weeks afterward, but she said it'd be a cold day in hell before she'd let *him* do it, so Hah! She'll be great.
