wanting: even more of this beautiful weather. I love autumn!

wearing: Sacremento Athletic Department T, Low riders with a huge hole in the knee - I did it last weekend when I climbed over the fence and got my knee caught on the little pokey uppy thing. Warm socks and ugly crocs. Red polar fleece jacket.
hearing: Georgia/Vandy game

drinking: not a thing - I need water though
doing: playing...thinking about doing something constructive
looking forward to: today
feeling: happy that Beth is less sneezy and coughy

looking forward to: putting together a wired-shelf contraption I bought - at long last giving up on building a lot of bookshelves, who was I kidding - and then stacking a bunch of my art books on it.

Not really. there was one woman, a nurse, who was "pro-life" and was concerned that Obama was not. I think she understood that McCain was not the answer. I tried to get her to see that programs and policies to make the lives of women better, such as health care, education and jobs, would have the added benefit of reducing the number of unwanted pregnancies. When I asked her who's health care policy she preferred, she answered without hesitation, "Obama."
