All freeware I suspect are potential spyware or adware. Why would they give it 'free'? There is always a catch.

Anyhoo, CC Cleaner is free!!!


Look around the computer forum here, and you will see Timber and Monger and Craven discussing what is good free ware for a number of purposes.

The timber take is avoid it; its scamware. Agressively marketed, not particularly good at what it claims to do (few if any for-fee "One-Click-Fixes" are), and its a bitch to remove.
