I look forward to seeing what he looks like after the haircut and shave.
Quite happy that The Yankees have seem to have acquired Damon and with a 4 year contract it's a heck of a lot sweeter to deal with than a 7 year would have been...I am not a big fan of contracts of that length.
Ah, yes! The 2006 season is looking good...

Boston is still bitter over their most recent season...and most of the team seems ready to leave. Check out the article in The New York Times today about Damon.

Damon is a scumbag. I don't trust him. I bet he bats under .250 this season just to be a dick...

My daughter was questioning why he would go to the Yankees - "They're the bad guys, right?" I explained that for some people money is more important. Bless her heart she still doesn't understand.
Personally I was not a big fan of Damon - always thought he was a bit superficial.
Then she went on to chant - Papi! Papi! Papi!

unfortunately, team loyalty no longer exists.
its all about the bling-bling and individual accomplishments (stats, # of championships, # of endorsements, ect.).
i often wonder why i continue to watch these spoiled millionaires...

Region - that is why I now go to watch the minor league teams. I like to see the players when they seem to enjoy playing the game before $$$ takes over.
