Is there a calender somewhere on my windows xp? I looked in accessaries and didn't find one there.
No. You would need a specific calendar program. There is a calendar in Outlook and you can get templates for Word and Excel.
You could do a google search of calendars on the internet. You will find many.
You don't find one because there is none. With Windows, a calendar - the type with provision for reminders, scheduling, diary entries and that sorta stuff - will be a 3rd-party app.
lemme get back on one idea for a sort of portable one that would work well on your PC
looks like outlook without email
Well thank you all. I will follow your leads but I'm truely amazed that a five year calender say isn't included in "accessories" or some such!
There's a basic calandar in your system tray in Windows XP. Double click on the time, day or date.
Bingo Infra! I just knew there had to be something simple somewhere. Thanks.
InfraBlue- How 'bout that. Had this computer for a couple of years, and did not know about this. Thanks!
Oh, you just wanted a calendar to look at? I guess we thought you wanted a scheduling calendar.
Run a Google for Tclock.
I've been using it for years. It's small, unobtrusive and does exactly what you want it to.
TClock's current version is 1.4.2 It replacess the system tray date/time/clock and works very nicely. I have used it for years.
