I have been very concerned, may I say, about Kicky's moral fibre for some time.

Yes, agreed. He needs to increase his fibre intake. Bran muffins ought to do it.

Thanks for the new stuff to check out guys. Tonight is another of those nights. I think I might get out of here by four AM though, so that's good. Some of it was incredibly boring, and the two things I really wanted to check out, the exploding whale and Gus' (should it be "Gus's"?) link to all that good video, I could not see because this computer doesn't have the right plug-ins. Dammmmmmmmmmmm...

All right, kickycan. Back to the monkey joke...

Why did the monkey fall out of the tree?

I know that joke! Damn, I forgot the punchline. Not very funny. Kind of stupid. In fact, real stupid.

Excellent.

Damn I am tired. And now that these unorganized a-holes have kept us here until 5:00 AM, the carpool law goes into effect because of the transit strike, making it virtually impossible for me to get home.

This blows.

I've just heard about the strike, Mr K. How far are you away from home?

Do you want a lift?

Ha. I'm too tired to put the exclamation point on that laugh. Sorry. Hmmm...if I walked home from here, I'd say it would take about two and a half to three hours. And taking a cab should take oh, about...two and a half to three hours.

The punchline to all this is that I have a job interview at 9:15 AM, which is about three blocks from where I currently work. I think I'm just going to go to Starbucks when I get out of here and suck down gallons of coffee until then. I'm sure a caffiene-riddled, sleep-deprived, disgruntled employee should be exactly what they're looking for!

And the superduper hilarious extra-special punchline is going to probably be that the guy who is interviewing me won't even show up for work today because of the transit strike.

I have no way of finding out ahead of time, so I hope this bastard knows how much effort I am going through just to meet with his stupid ass.
