I want to transmit data from windows through the serial/parallel port to a DTE/DCE that works under synchronous HDLC. Does anyone know a program that would make that possible?

I don't really have an answer for you, but I do have a question. I gather you're looking to impement data transfer using the PPP protocol. I may be off base here, or missing something, but if you are using PPP, why are you looking for an additional software solution?

Not looking to transfer through PPP, just need to send data framed as HDLC to a certain piece of hardware that only accepts HDLC data

Ahhhh ... OK. Still can't really help you, I was just curious. Got another question - are you studying for Cisco certification?
