I was staring at its nose, thinking that was its face. See what I mean? It looks like a little skeleton head chewing on a rope. A skeleton head emerging from an enormous pile of hair.

Not until I saw the eye did the photo make sense to me.

I had the same problem, Gus. I thought it was just my early morning optical illusion.

they are so strange, they are kinda neat..

Oh man, I watched one of those animal shows about them.

Those little bastards are into rough sex!
This male was banging her so hard, her vagina turned inside out.

They took it into the vet, and had to have a whole bunch of her shoved back inside where it had prolapsed.

And those tazmanian devils!
The male grabbed the girl by the neck and dragged her over to a tree and slammed her head into a few times to get her to cooperate. Poor thing had little tweety birds flyin' around her head and everything.

Yeah. No Sh*t! That was my take on it.

gators are easier to spot, probably. platypus are small & reclusive. sure wish they'd put a web cam in the platypus tank at the sydney zoo.
