Never had a real desk job but wifi has spoiled me. Like to work where the whim takes me ... the hey the sunshine and the view from this window seems to beckon today type of mentality.

Big birthday parties that extend beyond immediate family or tiny spectacless events?

On the rare occasion I do find myself in the gym ... cardio exercise ... stationary bikes, rowing machines, etc... basically the grown up toys of the gym.

Refreshments at the movies: Popcorn and a drink or candy and a drink?

popcorn! There's nothing like salty artificially butter flavored greasy popcorn. I haven't had it in ages though.

I prefer incandescent as it's more natural but I do have one of those new fangled energy efficient fluorescent twisty bulbs.

Creating a mood with a single colored light bulb or throwing a thin scarf over a lamp?

We have several of the twisty flourescent bulbs. I HATE them but I'm being good and doing "the right energy thing".

I've never tried either but the scarf sounds interesting. Is that safe?

hang dry laundry or use a dryer?

Safe? Seen it done on television and a couple of movies. Probably not.

Have no place to hang up laundry... dryers for me.
