I would suspect some moisture got inside the statue, and is causing the brown paint to run. Don't you notice that the "tears" are the same color as the paint used to define her eyes?

If she really cried, what is the reason for her to cry?

It looks to me like somebody came with an eyedroper in the middle of the night then came back in the morning and said "OH MY GOD MARY IS CRYING"

How come these thing never happen when somebody is watching but their always happening?

I think Mary is sad because Dys and Phoenix have taken their lives on a stray purpose and have not tithed recently.

Perhaps because of all the evils in the world which people ignore in their indifference. A cry out for repentance, prayer and holiness.

Mary-related visions/apparitions, and statues of her mysteriously weeping oil or blood aren't exactly rare these days. But it is as Scripture says: "You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times." All too few people hear her calls, and even fewer heed them.

I don't know if the tears are a miracle or not. I believe in miracles, yes. Whether this is one, I can't say. I would think part of knowing a miracle is the feeling one would get from it. If she is crying, I agree with Deveron. She would most likely be shedding tears for the world.

Maybe if she found out how much money on car insurance she could save by calling Geico, she'd stop crying.
