I'm very interested in any rituals taking place in your area between 12/14 and 12/22.

The links seem outdated....

In Stoneham, the villagers will gather in their quaint native costumes at
the Tomb of the Unknown Jaywalker. There they will ceremoniously burn
the Yule Pepperoni.

George--

You are a walking encyclopedia of local lore.

Littlek--

Unfortunately on the 17th I'm tagging along with son & d-i-l to what will probably be a more conventional Christmas party. Perhaps next year....

December weekends are complicated.

I'm curious as to why the doors will be locked at 7:45. If you go, let me know.

They are!

I hadn't read that about the doors locking. Curious.

I'm reminded of the All Night, After Prom parties. Do you suppose that last year things got a bit rowdy and the Solstice Celebration deviated from the Family Orientation?

The Green St is an adult venue, usually kids aren't allowed anyway. Perhaps we'll all dance around a fire nekid.

There will be solstice rites here in the Poconos--outside at sunrise. We have a foot of snow on the ground, too.
