The BCS or a Playoff?

It looks like it might come down to the Horns and USC, two undefeateds, so the BCS has dodged in bullet in that there will not be three undefeateds. I don't see why they can't go to four team playoff. This year there are at least two one loss teams that might give Texas and USC a run for their money, Miami and Penn State.

If they go to 4, it could be a stepping stone to go to 8.

Playoff wanted
I don't understand how anyone could think that the BCS determines who the best team in the country is. Winning all of the games played is not neccessarily being the best team in the country. Everyone loves an underdog and some the best sports stories in our history are of teams who fought through adversity to become Cinderella's. The way it is now once a team loses they have no reason to play the rest of the season. WE NEED A PLAYOFF, for the sake of the fans.
