Craven tends to get a bit testy. It may be because he is the one who oversees all the hamsters in this place, and it probably gets a bit exasperating at times! Very Happy

Hmmm. Well, Gbob... and welcome to a2k.

I think it takes a little bit of effort to see through that gruff exterior and Craven does not have what you might call a warm, fuzzy personality... heh.... but he is VERY HELPFUL on this site. I think most everyone here who knows how this place runs would agree.*

Not to discount Timberlandko who is a superlative giant of a man as well, helpful even when he totally disagrees with your politics. Very Happy

*Note: Craven owns the site... built the site... manages the site.... fixes the problems.

Craven - often refered to as CdK - sometimes displays the patience, compassion, and social skills of an irritated junkyard dog. Don't let that bother you much; he's really much nicer than he seems, extraordinarily knowledgeable, trustworthy, loyal, brave, and dresses pretty well - for a kid Twisted Evil

Thanks - I really appreciate seeing that sorta spontaneous, unsolicited, obviously sincere testimonial.

Oh, and could I have a receipt, please?

Sure!

Timber, you treat people very well here and seem to truly enjoy helping them with their strange & bizarre computer problems.

(I think it must be a challenge to you.)

You're funny and you're clever and you make light of many things. In fact, I like 'most everything about you... Very Happy

PS -- And by the way... a pat on the back and a most sincere Thank You for your years of service to our country and those of your son, as well. It is Veterans Day and I honor all veterans. Always have, always will. I'm an Air Force Brat.

I forgot (among others) Lord Ellpus and Slappy Doo Hoo. They'd be shocked if they weren't mentioned as being extremely helpful in finding risque laughs.

Craven doesn't have a gruff exterior, he's gruff all the way down, to the very last turkle...

Fine fella with a hamster, though.

Hmm, the many faces of Craven. Smile

Sometimes I feel that there are people here that can help me when I ask a question but, for some reason won't. I say this because some time later someone else asks the same question, and many post to help.

I want to take this time to thank all those that always help me Exclamation Smile I try not to forget to thank them but, just in case I have.

Thank you all *hug & kiss* Exclamation Very Happy

I would never let the likes of him near me with gaffer tape...the fur sticks to it, you know, and, well, naughty boys.

Angelique East -- That doesn't sound like the helpful denizens of a2k. What questions have you asked? Sometimes a question or thread gets lost in the line-up.

The threads do exist. The why of it, I don't know. It's better to leave it at that.

I dunno if it applies to the instances you mention, Angelique, but I think sometimes a question goes unanswered simply because it wasn't noticed by anyone who might have been able to answer it. Sometimes too, the way a question is asked has a lot to do with whether or how it gets answered. As I said, dunno if any of that applies, but it comes to mind.
