Well tell your buddies in Ireland to do the same. When I went there on vacation I would have shat myself if I saw a dentist somewhere. Overall they had the worst teeth.

So you're saying Europeans smell like ass?

No wonder so many gays love to vacation there.

Hahaha... Ahh, so funny.

But geez why? Dont they care? Can they smell themselves? Will they appreciate my relatively high level of hygine? Is soap more expensive?

In fact I was told that perfumes in Europe are more concentrated to "mask those bodily odors". I might buy a couple...

I'm sorry el_pohl, I've been to Tijuana many times, and
let me tell you: even the worst ghettos in Europe don't look
as bad as Tijuana, and don't get me started on the people
residing there, personal hygiene doesn't come to my mind,
when seeing them.

Europeans don't smell, in fact, all of them bathe or shower
on a daily basis, just like all Americans do. So there, stereotypical enough?

If you haven't been to Europe and haven't made your own
experiences yet, than please go there with an open mind,
and stop falling into the ignorance trap.

Yeah I know... but they come close right? Razz

JK, my city is not known for is magnificent beauty or heavenly landscapes. I agree wholeheartedly. But I do know that daily showers are routine, at least with 98% of people I know.

I guess it could be stereotypical, but based on something probably... I have my informers Wink

Anyways, Ill go prepared! With an open mind, but with a closed nostril...

It's not the lack of hygiene you're seeing, it's the ashy look some peoples get when their skin is kind of dry.

Ah, InfraBlue, he'll come back with such an enthusiasm
for Europe and its people, he's probably embarrassed to
ever have started this thread Wink

In Germany, Austria, Switzerland as well as in some east European parts, there are towns with the prefix "Bath".

People are send there by their health insurcance to take baths for a period of three weeks (up to six weeks).

That truely indicates: Europeans need baths so strongly that it really is a health problem - I should know, since I live in such a place.

[The English translation 'spa' for those 'baths' leads in wrong direction.]

Good. (But wouldn't Enghien-les-Bains be closer/cheaper?)

Speaking from experience: no, because of the casino nearby...

(And btw, Ex-les-Bains is an appropriate name for abandoning such practices).
