Ha, yeah, I'd figured out it doesn't always work that way when my post saying it works that way DIDN'T appear -- I started to post something saying that "hey I said if you just hit submit it'll get through one way or the other, but then THAT one disappeared, so I guess not". But then I got distracted. And I thought that one was gone. But it appeared after all!!!

And now (12:26 PM EST) my last post isn't showing up -- my current theory is that they all show up, eventually, but take their sweet time...
I went through 5 pages of new posts, made a few new posts myself, and when I went back to see if I'd double posted (got a couple debug mode error messages) I couldn't find the threads I'd posted to.

I must say, the old regulars, and the new regulars have stuck it out with A2K through this difficult time. Very nice, very nice!

yep. post count has stopped going up too. it shows 5993, while when i click on my name above avatar, i have well over 6000. estragno.
j_b, it will come back. click on your name above avatar, which will get you to the list of your posts. you can get to your thread from there.
So far, every single post seems to show up eventually, it just takes a loooooong time. (Took a couple of hours for my last few to appear, though the time stamp seems to be correct/ when I actually submitted it.)

What's even stranger is my post count is stuck on 9409, but when I click on my name above avatar, I have only 9379 showing.
Can someone post to the Chicago Gathering thread? That seems (OK, this is all very unscientific) to kind of act as a laxative or something -- one person posting over and over doesn't do it, but if someone else does, that, like, unstops things. :-? (And I have a post there about an email response I got from Chicago Parks people that I want to appear already...)
