Hey all!

I've newly bought the game call of duty 2.
But i got a problem!

My video card don't support "Alpha Blending". Can you help me?
My warning message when trying to start the game:

Update your video driver and the version of DirectX 3D (you need to be running DirectX 3d version 9.0c) you are running.

The ATI Radeon 9800 series cards DO support alpha blending. I think you have either an outdated driver or your DirectX 3D is an older unsupported version..

Driver
Ok, but i don't find where i can download the upptade for the driver.
I'm running Windows XP Pro.

Try the Driver Download pages at the Support website for your machine's vendor first (some machines, notably Dell and HP/Compac, use proprietary drivers), and if nothing relevant turns up there, look HERE[/i][/b].

Its a good idea to backup existing drivers - just in case - then uninstall them, before installing the freshly downloaded updated drivers, BTW.

Oh, yeah - and check the card's Properties in Device Manager to determine the exact model and version of your card and the version of its installed drivers before doing anything else.
