I know there is a lot of controversy surrounding this film, but I am really looking forward to checking it out. I like the director a lot, he did In the Name of the Father and In America and 50's pretty cool too... Anyone else interested? It opens on Wednesday.
Cool. I think it's gonna be pretty interesting to see what 50 can do. I just read that Ebert and Roeper gave it 2 thumbs up this weekend, so that's good news for all of us anticipating it.
I want to watch it, but I am going to wait until it is out of the theaters I think
I dunno, from what I hear, sounds like this one is gonna surprise us all. Terrence Howard is in it and he's had a great year, some people are saying THIS is his Oscar performance, which is cool. I don't think I'd wait much longer...good thing it opens tomorrow!
I'll avoid that movie or die tryin'!
Yes, lets glorify a thug by throwing money into his pockets.
I guess of Marshall Mathers can make a movie, so can Curtis Jackson (I think that's his name...lol).

Perhaps Mr. Howard will be nominated for both Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor, ala Jamie Foxx last year, but I just can't imagine a better performance from him or anyone than what he gave us in "Hustle & Flow". THAT was undoubtedly his Oscar performance.
This film will be crap just like 50 cents music.
I agree with you. Rap sucks to its entirty...and so will this movie. Same old rap crap, drugs, alcohol, voilence, rape, money, and someone shoots someone, the person who is shot dies, the shooter goes to prison. CRAP!! CRAP!! CRAP!!
Isn't that what every action movie is about? Drugs, alcohol, voilence, rape, money, and someone shoots someone, the person who is shot dies, the shooter goes to prison? This could be a Clint Eastwood film.
It got terrible reviews. Something like 18% on rottentomatoes.com.
wanna see this movie
in the name of the father is also a very very good movie
HAHA - get this.. In my town (which isn't high in crime) there was a person who attacted another person, while seeing this very movie.
Man... movies these days! Look what they have done to people!
