I haven't been able to get in since Friday.

Could be the end...

...but Abuzz has more lives than Freddy Kruegger.

The few times I have visited Abuzz during the past month, most of the "most active" have less than ten posts to Abuzz. It's a cry'n shame, because it was at one time one of the best on the internet, and it's now breathing it's last hurrah.

For the life of me, I can't figure this out. Just as it's going down for the count, it is brought back to life again. I have long been curious as to what is the agenda at the NYT Digital!

The reports of the demise of Abuzz certainly have been at least as exagerated as the reports of his own demise to which Mark Twain so famously alluded.

The deathscene is playing out longer than that of Garbo's

The plug is finally being pulled, apparently.
Sept. 2 will be the bitter end.

I rather suspect that is so. Intelligent, appropriate use of the "Report" button by everyone will help a bunch. Note the "intelligent, appropriate" part, please Mr. Green ; it also is to be anticipated there's gonna be a bit of unintelligent, inappropriate use of that feature, too. The problem, should there come to be one, will be lessened in direct proportion to the number of folks who participate in the solution, as opposed to those who choose to participate in the problem.
