I'm especially fond of the little guy banging his head against the wall. It could prove quite useful in politics I think.
Dazed and Confused Emoticon
Yeah, ain't the banana great?
Are there any speed/ space issues with the emoticons? Because the more the better, from my perspective. The other site I frequent that runs quite like this one has something like 90 emoticons on tap, and I use a LOT of 'em.
OK, I take it back. That one's spooky.
I vote for that one, too.
Have you found one that's something like "Jaw drop"? It's a shocked-looking guy whose jaw drops about 5 lines.
It wouldn't let me select it, but it's here -- blue fella, ":eek" (they're alphabetical.) Lots of other good ones too.

I'll hunt for it now, sozobe.....fingers crossed!
The issues with emoticons are speed (possible a bit slower to load the post page) and more than anything bandwidth.
This site has suprised me greatly with its bandwidth consumption. I thought 20 gigabytes a month would be enough for a few months but it won't. The emoticons you most like are much bigger than the ones that came in the standard package. It's a small difference but it adds up.
There is a way around this, I can make a page of offsite emoticons that would be a little less convenient to work with but would have no limits whatsoever.
I'd set it up so that you can click a button, then press control V and it's in your post. But it wouldn't be as simple as the emoticons are right now. Since you'd need to open the separate emoticon page.

Some things that can make this whole thing moot is:
I might create my own template that uses very few graphics, this would be much faster to load and would save me a lot of bandwidth. The template would be optional but if the regulars used it it would be a boon.
Additionally I am already looking for a new host. The maximum bandwidth this host allows me to purchase won't be enough soon.
If I settle down eventually I'll host this site on my own hardware and have about 5000x as much space available to play with.
But for now, because I will be away for a few weeks I don't want to add too many. I'll add about 5-10 when you all finish fighting over which they will be. ;-)
Jawdrop Emoticon ~ just for sozobe
Craven, you've already given us so much -- I'm sure we can get along with the emoticons we already have and wait till later when it's more convenient and easier for you. Right, guys???
Or, Craven, you could just threaten to email each of us that huge file and we'd have to fend for ourselves.
