Thanks Craven- Have you thought about a way to lock in "View topics since your last visit"?. I came back this afternoon to 51 of them. After looking at the first one, I did it again. Blew the whole shooting' match away, and had to go though qs by date and time Yeeeeccccch!

Phoenix, that happened to me for the first time this am... I got confused and opened two different A2K windows, saw "159 new posts", did something, and poof, back to zero. Grr.

Sozobe- The problem with me, is that my mouse finger works faster than my brain!

I have found 2 ways to do it, but both have serious drawbacks. One would slow the forum to a crawl the other would use cookies for every topic you visit.

The recent topics list on the control panel does more or less what you want. But it doesn't list more than about 30 or so threads. I can't increase it because that performs a lot of database queries and is already the slowest page of the site.

I do however have a few solutions for this problem that I might add to the control panel. It's ugly (the pages were not made for humans but rather for spiders) but it would solve that problem.
