dESIGNS - Problem Exporting MS Outlook

EDIT (Moderator): Split from "Networking 2 computers"

just adding on this topic.

i have done the above and now want to get my MS Outlook over from the PC to the Laptop. I have tried many forms and nothing is working for me. I did the whole export/import, didn't work.... what else can i do?

First, its not a good idea to append a help request to an existing help request thread; you should start your own topic with your question.

That aside, what Operating System/Service Pack are you using, what is your version of Outlook, precisely what procedure did you use when you attempted to export which of your Outlook files, and what were the results?

terribly sorry about that. i know some forums like to re use old threads if same or similar topic.

I use Win XP SP2 on both PC and Laptop. MS outlook 2002 again on Both computers.
i went to:
Import export
export to a file
personal folder file (.pst)
highlighted personal folder and checked sub folders.
replace duplicate and browsed my my docs for backup.pst
popped my password in
waited while it exported...

then went to laptop
import from another program or file
personal folder file (.pst)
browsed my docs for backup.pst
replace duplicate
popped in password
highlight personal folders
check subfolders
finish
and nothing happens...........
