just curious ...
Is there another option besides the one you said above?
no. <s>
not in my pole. (sic - I'm leaving that. <g>)
but if it were your poll, would you have a suggestion?
I'm thinking of yes when the foetus have not developed the brain, and no when it has.
yeah, no - it's a yes or no q. <s>
No it isn't a yes or no question. You can be against having an abortion yourself but not against someone else having one. You can be against partial birth abortion but not abortion up to a certain number of weeks.
This is not a black and white question and I doubt you'll get many solid yes or no answers.
I'm sorry, but if you read the question again, you will see that it IS, in fact, a "yes-or-no" question, presented from a female and then from a male perspective.
The comment section is for clarification.
Sorry for any misunderstanding. <sweet smile>
Ok, then you just want to know who has and who hasn't? That is a rather personal question. Why do you want to know?
bella correct....
This is not a yes/no question...
you may support your partners decision, but be against abortion itself. Your supporting someone decision does not equal approval.
Also, this pole is very biased and you will not find and equal distribution of results.
A woman who has NOT had an abortion will most likely answer No without a 2nd thought. I can't imagine why they would answer Yes if they hadn't.
However, a woman who Has had an abortion may have many issues to admitting it, or will outright not see it as any of your business, or will lie.
So, you will get women who's answer is no either has not had one, or is lying.
You will not be able to account for the yes's because they will be less likely to answer at all, or are lying and saying no.
<smiling just as sweetly>
Seems like the anonymous nature of polls is perfect for this particular question, to me. (No, I haven't, but I see that at least 4 people feel that they can anonymously say they have...)
I wont be anonymous.
I have had an abortion.
My partner at that time supported me
And if it came down to the need to have another one today, my husband would support me as well.
I have a very hard time with pregnancies and out of 5 I have only had 2 live births.
I voted yes, that I had supported my partners abortion. Bear was considering a vasectomy. I was all for it.
shewolf - I have had similar difficulties and would not chance it again. Luckily, I'm getting to an age of not having to make that decision much longer, but would if I became pregnant now.
I nearly lost the two I have, and jeopardized myself as well. To me, that's why Roe CAN'T be overturned. The whole "abortion as birth control" is way overblown, IMO.
BINGO.
yes there will be people who use it as birth control..
but those of us who are essentially in need of an abortion to protect our OWN lives shouldnt be shunned.
Those of society who cant afford another child shouldnt have the ability to be removed..
Those who are raped shouldnt have the ability removed
Those who are not mentally stable shouldnt have the ability removed
Those who just are not readyfor a child, shouldnt have the ability removed..
oh boy.. I better stop here.
hehe.. this is a heavy subject.
There was a girl I went to high school with who had 4 abortions. Made me shake my head.
