Boskone is a Science Fiction convention focusing on literature, art, music, and gaming - and Helmuth wrote (writes) some newsletters about meetings etc.
hi Walter..
thanks for ur reply...
i have been researching this " Boskone" i dont think it has anything to do with literature.. on the contrary.. i quote one of comments on it
this i've found on : http/www.bigblueball.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18513
"I have checked out the exploit and yes it does offer unrestricted access to your computer files, should you log on as administrator then all a hacker need do is delete the 'boot.ini' file to ensure your computer does not boot up, and effectively is destroyed.
Should the RIAA use this exploit then they have a list of ALL files shared on your computer.
Your call... dont say you were not warned."
i recall many moons ago that i have downloaded " Earthstation" this is part of the program.. that has been left behind..
i would love to know if anyone else here had come across it..
cheers mata
