Yes they want to.....

But Bangaluru is the original name of the place. In fact in Marathi (neighboring Maharashtrian) language it is never pronounced as bangalore but bangalur itself.

I already knew the real name for the place.

And dont worry .... Soon there will be these changes

Maysore - Maisoor
Mangalore - Mangaluru
Coimbatore - Coimbatoor

I haven't quite got the hang of image posting, yet; I even think I've forgotten what I already knew!

And speaking of memory, I bought some new camera batteries so I would be able to take some flash snaps of our last evening and chat with the prince at the Hyatt (which was a very nice occasion) and you know what? So engrossed was I, I forgot to get the camera out! Drat.

Anyway, we're back, tired but happy, and all is well.
I woke up at four o'clock (UK Time) this morning, will adjust a bit better today I hope.

Yes of course he did- in fact he let me read it on his phone, and I read it aloud in my best Barry Humphries voice.

We had a nice time with Super G, in the splendid Hyatt.

Then, eight hours through the night with no sleep on the plane, so am just getting back onto an even keel now.

Overall we had a great time touring the country, by bus, train, plane, boat, taxi, rickshaw, and a lot of walking too. And a lot of sitting down. And a lot of eating and drinking.

I've got something like 650 pictures, and have promised Vinsan some from my two days in Kanniyakumari, but am unsure how best to transmit these.

I have not had too much time so far, but I will host a selection on ImageShack and supply links. It takes a little time, is all, and some expertise, which I am short on.

Later

McT
