Removing "Installand "... .exe" icons

Only if you never need to reinstall the software. You can always move them to a separate folder, just for 'em, if you want to clean up your desktop. They need not, specifically, be on the desktop (I like a nice clean desktop m'self), but I would not delete them off your PC altogether.
