Yes. That song reminds me of my friend. I loved her.

It makes me think of a lot of people I have loved who fell by the wayside or just got sucked into a long life of small town trappings.

Good song.

For All We Know by Donny Hathaway.

Not just the song but the singer.

For all we know
We may never meet again
Before you go
Make this moment sweet again

We won't say goodnight
Until the last minute
I'll hold out my hand
And my heart will be in it

For all we know
This may only be a dream
We come and we go
Like the ripples of a stream

So love me, love me tonight
tomorrow was made for some
tomorrow may never come
for all we know

One of the songs that makes me wanna cry is

'Angel' or 'In the arms of an angel' (people call it differently) by Sarah McLachlan

It't from te movie 'City of angels'. Here's the lyrics:

Spend all your time waiting
For that second chance
For a break that would make it okay
There's always one reason
To feel not good enough
And it's hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction
Oh beautiful release
Memory seeps from my veins
Let me be empty
And weightless and maybe
I'll find some peace tonight

In the arms of an angel
Fly away from here
From this dark cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort there

So tired of the straight line
And everywhere you turn
There's vultures and thieves at your back
And the storm keeps on twisting
You keep on building the lie
That you make up for all that you lack
It don't make no difference
Escaping one last time
It's easier to believe in this sweet madness oh
This glorious sadness that brings me to my knees

In the arms of an angel
Fly away from here
From this dark cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort there
You're in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort here

This song can be very relaxing, releasing, or just touching...it depends on one's mood. ..

I was listening to, of all things, "Hair" by the Cowsills and I came to the following line (which has no bearing on my personal life but it sounded so dang sad) -

Quote:
My hair like Jesus wore it
hallelujah, I adore it
hallelujah, Mary loved her son
Why don't my mother love me?

My gosh.

It can make someone suicidal, as well.

It is beautiful.
