I just saw Serenity this past weekend.
I have to say, this is one of the best MOVIES i have seen in a long time.
The story was strong, the characters were perfect. Interaction was amazing.
Graphics, costumes, storyline.. all just great!
Wether or not you like sci-fi movies, or have not seen the tv show it is taken from, i would suggest this movie.
Anyone else?
I want ot see it,so does my frinds husband but not my friend but I reckon we are gona drag her along.
From the trailers it looks quite funny, tongue in cheek humour.

A friend of mine saw it and said it was good.
I've been meaning to see it, but can't decide if I want to see the season of Firefly first or not.
No need to DD.
there isnt anything in Firefly that isnt covered in the movie.
there are tid-bits missing, but, it isnt anything that will take away from the movie, or add to it if you saw it before.

Not having seen it, I can't speak to its quality. I know that other SF-fan friends of mine were underwhelmed.
On the other hand, they're big fans of the LoTR trilogy, most of which left me disappointed.
now i DO love lord of the rings.

I robot was good because of its special effects and the idea that a computer can in a sense think for itself.
beyond that, it was a typical fluffy bunny family movie.

I liked i robot. Mostly for Will. Yummy.
i thought,
for the technology we have today,
and the context of J.R.T's books, the two were a great match.
Yeah, there are things they could have done better, and things that would have made the movie better if they left them out..
but for the most part.. i was impressed.
IMO, almost all modern filmmakers are too impressed with special effects.
Yeah, I, Robot was an alright movie, don't know why got bad reviews.
I saw Serenity. I'm not a SF gal usually, but I thought it was awesome. I've been talling all my mates to check it out. Anyone know if there'll be a sequel?
I still get a giggle at Kaylee's motivation for surviving the big fight against the reavers. Too funny.
