Prayer is holy masturbation
Bleeding Nuns and funky God
Choir hymns, the Sodom squad
Sunrise choking on the dawn
The sunset depressed and forlorn
Turning back the sands of time
Anything to make this rhyme
Hatefearsexlovedeathdesire
Paint you red and call you fire
Bruise you black and squeeze you white
Sudden death can cause delight
Warning labels on this tablet
Live to die, dying to forget
Violence, my inclination
Searching for an imitation
A clonage world a silent sigh
Our god is quick, our God is spry
Spry to questions, spry to prayer
I'll meet you down here in my lair
Of pain, I guess you'd call it Hell
What do YOU think lies in a wishing well?
You keep me happy, make me warm
Red is fire, and fire's reformed
Orange lies and pastry hearts
I'll be your guru of fine arts
Pay me well and spill me wine
I'll walk with haste, be home by nine
To spend some time thinking alone
Alone is fine, and fine is home
You're a gift from God to send
So I won't have to make pretend
I'm so not rich, but I'm not poor
I couldn't ask for anymore

Resist the urge, the sole temptation
Beat your mind and mind your beat
Even dead things have to eat
Pleasure comes in swan-sized vessels

This would make a great performance piece. Thanks for sharing.
Isn't is great to just vent in a peice of poetry? I love the way this poem just skips around and goes from funny to serious in the blink of an eye (while still keeping the rhyme and meter).
