hi everyone, i need quotes (just 2 - 4) about how human kind is going to decline in the future...said by someone famous in the past.
all i have so far is a quote by Einstein:
"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe."
Anything else? Thanks a lot.
I don't know if these will help, but:
"He who neglects learning in his youth loses the past and is dead for the future" - Euripides
"Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize that we can't eat money."
-Cree proverb.
"Live in the present and the present only. For the past is done and over with and the future may never come." Unknown
"You don't have to burn books to destroy a culture. Just get people to stop reading them." Ray Bradbury
"The jails are full of one million non-readers. We can't let it happen again. If you allow another generation to grow up to be 12 years old.... without the ability to read, write, and think, we're sunk. If they can't read, if they can't write, if they can't think, they become criminals. We've already lost two generations. Unless we teach reading intensely and completely in kindergarten and first grade, the whole civilization goes to hell." Ray Bradbury

Hi, dont know if this is relevant but I think I saw it carved on a memorium which I saw on Tv,I thought it was so powerful I wrote it down.
The communication of the dead is tongued with fire, beyond the understanding of the living.
Hear me, and hear me well. The day will come--Oh, yes! Mark my words, Seinfeld! Your day of reckoning is coming when an evil wind will blow through your little play world and wipe that smug smile off your face! And I'll be there, in all my glory, watching--watching as it all comes crumbling down! -- Newman
