I'm in the market for a new laptop. Anybody have any preferences? Feel free to use the poll or just post about your experience.
I've been using Dell stuff for years without many problems, but I've heard about quality issues from others. Costco has an HP pretty tricked out for $699.
A2K empower me.
Note I'm not a Apple user and while I like the fact OSX is Unix based, I don't want to deal with the cost and software issues.
Well we pretty much only have Dell at the office - they all have docking stations, except the one I'm using at home - not that I need it LOL but it's nice when I want to work in the backyard or in my bed.
oh here's one for ya - have analmost boat anchor hp 458mhz by 258ram - getting ready to put linux on it might try a dual boot in a couple hours have not decided yet. Last nught I was running popcorn from a CD and I have SuSE or Linspire to make a choice on.
