Okay, I think I figured out the first part. I think she shot him with a gun. And then drowned him, and then put a rope around his neck and suspended him from some place where he couldn't get good footing, so that we would slowly strangle to death. But I must admit I haven't figured out the second part of the riddle yet. Maybe I could get a clue if I read the VERY FIRST response to this riddle.

Where did she shoot her husband, in hand, so he dint die.

She hold him under water for 5 min, doesnt mean with head under water

hanging here doesnt refer to hanging to death, it may be just hanging on a hook.

So the man dint die at all

I think Monger may have known the answer but was not giving the details. Myself being an "aspiring photographer" I think the answer is that the woman shot the man by taking his photo, then developed the photo herself. In the developing of a print the last step is to hold it under water for at least five minutes. She then hanged the result (his photo) on the wall. Am I right????

what are you people still talking about this for?
somebody's posted the correct answer at least half a dozen times...

the rest of your answers don't fulfill the conditions in the riddle: were they in a play or playing video games, it wouldn't be "shoots him", it would be "pretends to shoot him".
and snorkeling: last time i checked you don't hold somebody else underwater while you're snorkeling, you do it yourself.
think "aspiring photographer", people.
