A Story by jufa
" Freedom is more than a word'. I've also learned when one holds another individual, or group, or race down, the one holding is also of the same mentality, and cannot soar as they otherwise might. "

I witnessed a metaphorical funeral of America, articulated by those ignorant and hopeful of insurrection, yearning to reclaim a past that was never theirs. These were not the words and deeds of a poets of metaphors, ideological philosophers, or mythic preachers, but those of the GOP leader (Republican Party). Such words from a man like me, where ignorance has bred terrorism and fueled racism in the "Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave."
Not unlike you and me, this man and his followers were dreamers in the beginning who dreampt dreams envisioning themselves as the ultimate ego, not in the process of becoming. There was no speculation of what happened before he became consciously aware of himself. No theorizing about a deity, nor thoughts about "WE THE PEOPLE, "and how America came to be the great nation it is today. - jufa
I saw a man eulogizing over the death of the past and comradeship, and lamenting the merging of freemen and slaves, whether to debit or chains and immigrant nations coming together building railroads, cotton mills, steel and coal institutions that propelled America to greatness in the modern age of humanity.
This man has emerged in the awareness of the impoverished, flaunting his wealth, his background and education, and his rise to national and then global prominence. His accomplishments have been witnessed. The 'Covid-19 blood' stained his feet and legs, marking his path as he trampled the common sense of those who, lured by his wealth, greed and corrupt principle of defying America's rule of laws believe he would enable them to provide for their families and set a blazing trail for the next generation to emulate and ascend to power.
Freedom transcends mere vocabulary. It is the pursuit of personal dreams and the aspiration to attain objectives that enhance not just one's immediate surroundings, but also the planet and humanity as a whole. Freedom is about emancipating oneself from apathy through personal accountability, recognizing that every person possesses the innate ability to act in the best interest of humankind, thereby fostering greater prosperity for America, the global community, nations, states, and localities.
Never give power to anything a person believes is their source of strength - jufa
