Shewolf answered:

Quote:
cry

Tears are an excellent way to discharge emotion--you know that. As Osso pointed out, you have some dreams to mourn, too.

Tears are much better than marching out to the kitchen and eating a box of chocolate candy--or whatever other comfort food is available.

I think I knew something of that, from early discussions here. In any case, I respect you immensely from the accumulation of many a2k conversations.

I've never taken that arrogant step, in that field, but I've made my own arrogant wrong steps.

Would getting married faster than you planned smooth any part of the way?

Shewolf, by the sound of it, although technically you did a wrong thing, anyone with a vague grasp of the ins and outs (literally) of the human body would know not to introduce anything into the gut when there is a lack of peristalsis.

SURELY the Doctor in question got his butt kicked?

Is there any way to launch an appeal, given the circumstances of your "offence"?

If not, does this preclude you from working in this field in another State?

How's about using your medical knowledge to re-train for something in a related field, where you WOULD be allowed to get some form of qualification or license?

I tell you, I have now put you on my list of people to surprise when I win the lottery.

If you see a Rolls Royce pull up one day.................

It could.. and it couldnt.
Getting married would make Ians credit better.. for some reason a married person is viewed as more stable when it comes to the decision of credit , then an unmarried person. How much better? I dont know.

Also perhaps re rental, but I suppose most places have forms. Still, I wonder.

Have you checked with one of those apartment locating services? They'd know which places will rent to you.

Also, as a non-violent offense, surely something could be done....

no.
he was a pompus ass resident.
there for , in some stupid legal loophole, he wasnt responsible and i took all the heat. Even in my proof of his decision, i was the one who was wrong because I stoe a prescription card. Did that warrant a felony?
No. But his ego said yes.

yes and no.
I am not rich enough to do it... so no..
yes, and I may win. BUT- i shot myself in the foot for being so honest in my confession that I may not be able to jump that hurdle again..

yes. You can not be -
RN, LVN, PA, NP, or even an assistant with a felony charge,
but ( this'll make you giggle ) i can be a doctor with a felony.. Confused

absolutly not in he state of texas.
In fact, most states will not allow someone with a felony to work in ANY medical postion. At this point, i can not even work in a grocery store if there is a pharmacy.

If this changes anyones view (for the worse, not better), I won't be speaking to them anymore.

I have more faith than that in A2Kers.

Could you have lived with yourself had you let the person die? I think not.
