I feel , if it makes sense, physically -lighter- these days.
I have more energy and Im actually happy.

And my daughter has benefited the most.
She now has a regular play group that meets once a week in a large group.... and several of us meet other times during the week in smaller groups.

Since Im happier, I have attracted more people and actually have FRIENDS!

It put a smile on my face to read this update after going through the thread. I am very glad to know that things are getter better for you Shewolf.

Shewolf, your update is bursting of optimism and I am
very proud of you. It's quite amazing what you've
accomplished in a relative short time, besides having so
many obstacles to overcome.

You're doing great, you're on a roll and if you continue
like that, your little family will be very successful, and
you certainly deserve it!

Thanks CalamityJane, it's hard to believe I was gone for almost a year, but I'm back with a vengeance.

There's just something about a2k that is special, like nothing else on the whole web and I'd be a fool if I didn't come back.

Life tends to get in the way and I went through some rough periods but things seem to be looking up for me as well.

this is a consideration.. And I might make it a goal in one year.

I get so many offers that i can easily turn away 5 a week because I just cant keep up.

At 20.00 an hour, I am on average 10.00 less than the competition.

I am also just one person, so people find security in knowing that the same person will be in thier homes all the time.

I have my own products and that is a selling point as well. I dont cost my clients more money in the long run but using up THIER cleaning supplies.

I work in the evenings when most people are home. I am finding , to my comfort, that most people want to be present when someone is in the home. Evening slots are gold.. and are almost completely gone. :-)

Not to mention, in austin alot of people seem to be on the 'no chemicals' cleaning advice.
I have both organic, and traditional cleaners.. and am not above just using hot water and elbow grease. That , coupled with the top down cleaning advice I got from Dupre, is my number one selling point.

This week alone, for 7 hours of work, broken up over 4 days, I make 200.00 +

yeah yeah... i will stop bragging now. But it just feels so damn good.

Last night, I sort of half assed told mil that we were house hunting. She has been sober for .. almost a month?
Pretty cool you ask me,

and there was no reaction. Nothing rude , nothing postive , just basic advice about house buying....

In fact, she is going to the beach this weekend for a 3 day vacation with the man.

I am so happy for her. On many levels.

This means that she has finally come to some sort of terms with her husbands death, and is begining to welcome her own life again.

I have noticed lately that she has been drinking a bit less and has been so much happier.

I am waiting for her to come back downstairs , so I can grab her and hug her to death.

This... is ... wonderful ...!
