This is my new poem, and it's not all that clear in meaning. But I'd be interested to know what people think it means, or how they interpret it, so feedback would be great...
Sit around the chair.
Sit around the chair. Well,
Of course.
Blood on my hands,
I've been waiting.
Made a move,
Years of waiting.
Big ships - even if
Jailers.
A friend.
Angels swimming,
Control again.
Cavemen singing by the hand,
I used to think.
What did you see? My ship?
Here am I, only sheets.
Longer the pleasure;
Howling down.
Listen.
The will to want
fruitless land.
the word capture doesn't even cut it
I don't understand what you're saying in the poem. You say it's a little unclear. Does that mean it's not clear to you either what you're saying? If that's true, there is no way anyone else will understand it either. A complicated lecture given by a professor confuses all students and shows that the professor himself doesn't know what he's talking about.
This poem was a sort of joke. I randomly nicked fragments of lyrics from some songs, and pasted them all together to create something that isn't beautiful or meaningful and isn't intended to make any sense to anyone. So, good response!
