At every point in life, we find ourselves standing at a crossroads where the mind has to decide which way to go. Even if we’ve made similar choices before, each path brings its own unique adventures and consequences that shape how we live, connect with others, and define our personal values. The intangible laws of cause and effect, without form, substance and depth or weight, underpin our purpose, influence our thoughts, and ultimately shape our fate, for better or worse.
Upon reaching a road's fork, one encounters a mental labyrinth offering no tangible evidence of its constructive truth or a path through it. Instead, there lies a subtle significance of an unseen gatekeeper's --offering wisdom rather than knowledge "which is crucial for safely navigating the maze.
To access the wisdom of the gatekeeper, one must exhibit the humility of a child's full reliant on the gatekeeper's illumination rather than their own human understanding and reasoning. One must willingly pursue this light, setting aside their reliance on human judgment, suffering, teachings, and desires that previously led them to the labyrinth. Only then can one begin to trust in the unknown and discard the ingrained ego of good and evil they believed more potent than the mighty Lord in the midst (Zeph.3:17) that is the Principled Substance and Patterned Essence which underlies every precept, will, intent, and purpose, regardless of the path chosen.
