UN Voting Pattern for Countries who have Accepted to Join the Gaza "Board of Peace"

I have looked up the U.N. voting record (apart from of course Israel) for the
other 22 countries which have accepted to join the "Board of Peace", and here is how the voting will turn out on any issue relating to Gaza:

The votes cast WILL BE:
17 votes against Israel.
4 (apart from Israel) for Israel.
1 abstention.

If the reader looks up the following, they can see a list of countries which have accepted a place on the "Board of Peace":
[Although the webpage says 35 countries have agreed to join, the tally on the webpage amounts to 23, as at today January 25, 2026.]:
Here are the countries joining Trump's 'Board of Peace' AND CBC

Regarding the "Board of Peace", I'm waiting for its consequential-support to Israel's long-term security, to show itself; I do hope I won't have to wait, too long ...

@Robert111333,
I was surprised to see so many Muslim countries quickly signing on to this rather brazen attempt by Trump to insure his lasting relevance, as he recently labeled "Islam" as one of the three major obstacles to world peace.

@hightor,
Another striking feature is that the founding members include a strong representation of countries from the Caucasus corridor stretching from Turkey to Central Asia: the idea of a ‘Turkish Silk Road’ seems just as prominent as Gaza. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan was able to draw a line from Kosovo to Uzbekistan.

I just thought I would provide some additional information for my first post on this thread:

Source for list of countries agreed to join “Board of Peace”, as at 25.1.2026:

@Robert111333,
It's also notable that while ostensibly created to draft a peace plan for the war in Gaza, there are no Gazan or even Palestinian representatives. (Yes, I know that they are not countries.)

@hightor,
Autocratic regimes are easier to deal with, the decision making process is a lot quicker and the leaders put self interest over all, meaning they can be bribed to screw over the Palestinians even more.

We don't need a board of peace, we need Nurmemburg style war crimes trials.

@izzythepush,
Those are both good points.
