@edgarblythe,
If he is removed, do you think Vance can actually harass enough people to vote for him in 2028? He has zip charisma and can't even diminish people in public in a faux entertaining way. What a miserable mess this is.

@glitterbag,
I don't think Vance could win an election fairly. But I don't think our elections are conducted fairly. I don't trust electronic voting machines to give an honest total. I don't trust officials because too many are eager to manipulate things. So: who knows if Vance can win? I don't.

I wonder who Trump thinks should be the next President when his term ends? I can't wait to hear.

I don't think that he's given other people any consideration for the position, and not just because he isn't usually inclined to consider other people. In the past few years, he's actually suggested himself – numerous times – for the job, during both his campaign, and in his first term: Donald Trump just keeps 'joking' about serving more than 2 terms as president. I would guess that his answer to the question would depend on how he feels about Vance that day.

And we can only guess how Trump feels about him today. From the outset of Trump's first term, veep Pence appeared to be heading an unofficial department of brown-nosing. Let us recall, eg...

Pence regularly offered such awkward displays of humiliating servility, which always went unrequited. So how could Vance level-up on this standard of self flagellation, should he feel so inclined? Well for starters, he could post this on Twitter, and leave it there:

The Democrats say they can't do more for the people because the Republicans won't let them. There is a simple remedy for that. Establish a New Deal for a platform and live up to it at every opportunity. Right now they fight as hard against many public needs, such as universal health care, as the Republicans. If the people really believed they meant it they would win by landslides eventually. Conversely it is an open field the Republicans are free to exploit. But it won't happen because nearly all of both sides are not for it.The gravy train would stop for them if they moved to reform and build up for society.
