My computer has also been taken over by this stupid virus from ABI, I have no idea what hijacking is nor do I know how to do it. Can you please help, I'm sorry I don't know a lot about computers. I ran the trend Mirco virus detection and it did say there was a virus but is not detecting it now. Can someone please help? this is my work laptop and I tried to ask our help desk, they only answer they had for me was to find the infected files and delete them. That didn't solve anything. The pop up ads are not as aggressive as some people have described but annoying non the less. Please help!

Try This. Its a tedious, nit-picky pain in the butt, but it works and not much else will; take a look through the topics in this forum which have titles prefixed with "[Resolved]", and make up your own mind.

Thank you so much for your help, I let one of our computer guys follow your instructions it seems to have worked. My company also loaded ad aware onto my laptop, so hopefully it will clean things up if it happens again.

Thanks again!
