I'm not the best person to ask, gollum. I'm happy to find old movies on
youtube, or
archive.org, or PBS Passport (free if you support your local PBS station) that I can watch for free. And there are other streaming services out there. It's possible, though, that you'll end up having to pay more to watch newly-released premium video, as I think most of the services now have fees or air advertising. But Amazon is a special case – they often push counterfeit products in their ads, they drive smaller retailers out of business, and they treat their employees like ****. I avoid doing any business with Amazon. I think I've made one purchase from them in four years.
