I am signed up for Amazon Prime.

I wish to see a movie: Bridge of Spies.

I went to the site. It says have to pay.

I thought I am entitled to it.

@gollum,
Some movies are free on Prime, some are only available to rent. I guess that is one of the rental ones.

@gollum,
And if you didn't already know it, Amazon sucks.

@gollum,
I'm not the best person to ask, gollum. I'm happy to find old movies on youtube, or archive.org, or PBS Passport (free if you support your local PBS station) that I can watch for free. And there are other streaming services out there. It's possible, though, that you'll end up having to pay more to watch newly-released premium video, as I think most of the services now have fees or air advertising. But Amazon is a special case – they often push counterfeit products in their ads, they drive smaller retailers out of business, and they treat their employees like ****. I avoid doing any business with Amazon. I think I've made one purchase from them in four years.

Amazon Prime does have movies you have to rent to see, however, there are hundreds that are free also.
Besides, there are many more streaming apps there also and many are free.
It's a great service for those who wish to watch good movies, be they new or old.
