On the rear slick of the 1957 Columbia Records soundtrack album AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER (Columbia CL-1013), there is a paragraph about the final scene from the movie that was never a part of the final cut released to theaters or included in VHS or DVD formats. I quote: "The final scene of the movie shows him carrying her across the threshold of his villa on the Riviera - whether because she is still unable to walk, or because he is exercising the traditional custom of the bridegroom, no one knows." If this critical scene was only a scripted scene which was never filmed, was filmed but never included in the theatrical release or the VHS and DVD versions, or was cut from the final print, I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW! So would MANY OTHER FANS of this classic cinematic triumph! PLEASE send a response to: Bruce Garthe @ <
